Arnold Schwarzenegger says we need to come together and ‘stop whining’ about Trump

Few people represent the American dream as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger. An Austrian immigrant who legally became an American citizen, a bodybuilding legend, an iconic actor and governor of California, the man is an inspiration to many — and for good reason. While you may not agree with all of his politics, you cannot deny that he truly loves the United States.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that Schwarzenegger recently came out in support of President-elect Donald Trump, stating that the American people should put their differences aside, prepare to grow up, come together and stop complaining about the fact that Trump was fairly elected.

In an interview with Matt Lauer on The Today Show, Schwarzenegger defended Donald Trump, stating, “Now he’s elected, and now it is very important that we all support the president, and that we all come together and we stop whining and it becomes one nation … When someone is elected, you get 100 percent behind and you help them.”

It’s a fair statement that shows that a lot of the time, the people who have the most respect for the American way of the life are the ones who have experienced life elsewhere. They know how bad it can truly be in other parts of the world, so they appreciate the things about America that many of the spoiled, delusional citizens here refuse to admit are great. Schwarzenegger is absolutely right about this entire post-election world we are living in. People are complaining about the process of the democratic republic that America has been since its inception.

If they actually disagreed with the Electoral College, they should have brought this up long ago. Now it is completely obvious that they only disagree with it because it didn’t work out in their favor. If the shoe were on the other foot, and Hillary Clinton had been elected because of the Electoral College, the leftists of the world would be talking about how important it is to American society. Instead, they are complaining about its existence. This is the kind of hypocrisy that has become commonplace.

Hopefully, there are some people out there who will take Schwarzenegger’s advice and stop whining about everything that Donald Trump says or does. Whether they like it or not, he is going to be our next president. He was elected and that’s all there is to it. Complaining about the result won’t change that, so it’s time to wish him the best.
